On November 8, Barack Obama, former president of the USA, urged young people to pressurise their leaders to do more to combat climate change. “When it comes to climate, time really is running out,” said Obama. Obama said he found it discouraging to see the leaders of Russia and China miss the Glasgow summit. He tweeted, “We’ve done some important work since the Paris Agreement was signed six year ago, but we’re still nowhere near where we need to be on climate.” Watch the video to know more.
