Budget 2022 will introduce key initiatives to empower women.
The Securities Commission will order all public listed companies to appoint at least one female on the board of directors by September 1st next year.
The government will also build more childcare centres in government offices.
Tax relief for childcare valued at RM3,000 will be extended until 2023.
The government will also increase funding for the D11 police unit which specialises in sexual crimes and crimes against children.
