Rhea Chakraborty To T. Natarajan, Bilkis Bano To Sonu Sood Why 2020 Was Memorable

The COVID-19 pandemic may have wreaked havoc in 2020 but the year was not short of newsmakers. While B-town celebrity Sonu Sood sacrificed his cushy life and took to the streets to come in aid of migrant workers, another not so famous Bollywood celebrity, Rhea Chakraborty, made headlines for the wrong reasons. Rhea's life turned a nightmare after her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. The Bengali model endured a harrowing time as investigating agencies probed Rhea and her family for all possible angles linked with Rajput's death. A section of the media was merciless too till the court gave her bail. The Indian Premier League found a new bowling hero in T. Natarajan of Sunrisers Hyderabad, a son of a weaver from a Salem village in Tamil Nadu. Like Sonu Sood, Odia actor Sabyasachi Mishra tried to put a smile on the face of COVID sufferers but octogenarian Bilkis Bano, aka Bilkis Dadi, proved age was just a number when she inspired thousands at Delhi's Shaheen Bagh to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens. Outlook appreciates the good work done by Sood and Mishra, wants Natarajan to bowl more yorkers, salutes Bilkis dadi's zeal and admires the composure shown by Rhea in the face of adversity.
