Now space scientists have recorded the occurrence of a white dwarf star located at a distance of 1,400 light years from Earth. This star turns on and off like a bulb every 30 minutes. Scientists observed that a white dwarf star suddenly disappears and then regains its brightness. For the first time such a discovery has been made by a team of researchers from Durham University, UK.

साइंस (Science) की दुनिया भी कई अद्भूत घटनाओं से भरी होती है। और ये समझ में कम लोग को आती है लेकिन दिलचस्पी इसमें सभी को होता है। अब अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिकों ने पृथ्वी से 1,400 प्रकाश वर्ष की दूरी पर स्थित एक सफेद बौने तारे (White dwarf Star) की घटना को रिकॉर्ड किया है। ये तारा हर 30 मिनट में किसी बल्ब की तरह ऑन और ऑफ होता है। वैज्ञानिकों ने देखा कि एक सफेद बौना तारा अचानक गायब हो जाता है और फिर अपनी चमक हासिल करता है।पहली बार इस तरह की खोज UK की Durham University के researchers की टीम ने की है.
