Part 2 of David Wolfe's seminar starts out with a graphic bang. He's in the middle of describing what heart disease actually looks like- a milky, pus-like liquid surrounding the heart- and then tells us what it is: Calcium. A lot of people don't know that Calcium is involved with heart problems, or even that there's an unhealthy type of Calcium. There are scary amounts of Calcium build-up throughout our bodies that we're completely oblivious of, and it could make our lives shorter. This is something everyone needs to know about.
He banters with the crowd, laughing that the discovery of the harmful Calcium was an accident. When scientists found that the primary recycling agent of illness is a tiny piece of what he calls 'coral' or 'a microscopic oyster,' they hadn't been looking for it. These 'oysters' are covered with a Calcium shell, reproducing slowly but steadily. Another shocker he throws out is that the heart isn't a pump, like everyone thinks, but a suction. So when the 'oysters' build up, they're like barnacles inside the arteries, disrupting the flow of blood to the heart. Not any different than rust in pipes, clogging up the sink. This then leads to heart disease.
