Kalyanee Mulay is a stage artiste and has worked in several plays. She was selected to play a role in film ‘Nude’ by director Ravi Jadhav. While working with director Prashant Hire in Nashik she got a call from National School of Drama, Delhi. She went to the school and after hard work proved her mettle. She worked in many Hindi dramas, serials and ad films. She has played the role of a model Yamuna in the film ‘Nude’. She prepared for the role by meeting various nude models and attending workshops. In the film, she works as a nude model in college to pay for her son’s education. She first enters this profession because of economic necessity but later begins to love it. She has showcased various incidents in her life in the film. Her role as Yamuna is memorable. Due to circumstances, she was forced to strip in front of students. But her emotions portrayed while stripping are memorable.
