Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2017 - Sandeep Madhukarrao Pisalkar is a versatile artist whose inspiring journey and achievements in the world of art and sculpture has been a beacon for emerging artists. Pisalkar's works have also been honoured with many awards such as the Bronze and the Gold at the International Art Award Denmark in 2008, the Bodhi Art Award in Mumbai in 2008, and the FICA-Emerging Artist award in 2008. Sandeep has also guided art training and workshops in Vadodara, Gwalior and Santiniketan and provides guidance to students in many colleges in the country.
