Bonfire on the Beach the Night of Mid-August at the Aragonese Castle of Ischia

It's tradition that, on the night before the feast of the Assumption of Mary, which falls on August 15th, we all find ourselves on the beach to light a big bonfire, with songs, dances, drinks and lots of laughter, we expect the dawn of 15 as a propitiatory rite, to find luck or perhaps have a child. On the island of Ischia (Italy) on the beach in front of the promontory of the Aragonese Castle, you can experience this atmosphere in the light of the reflected moon and fireworks, with Vesuvius in the background.
E' tradizione che, nella notte antecedente alla festa dell'Assunzione di Maria, che cade il giorno di Ferragosto, ci si ritrovi tutti in spiaggia ad accendere un grande falò, con canti, balli, bevute e tante risate, si aspetta l'alba del 15 come rito propiziatorio, per trovare fortuna o magari avere un figlio. Nell'isola di Ischia (italia) nella spiaggia antistante il promontorio del Castello Aragonese, si vive questa atmosfera al chiarore della luna riflessa e i fuochi d'artificio, con il Vesuvio sullo sfondo.
