Red Telephone - Stainton - Doncaster

The red telephone box at Stainton is in disrepair with crumbling exterior paint on the outside but a rather smooth and FUNKY interior (just like a cream biscuit) with a well stocked library .

While we were visiting, a local funkster told us that there were plans afoot to refurbish the outside.

We look forward to revisiting as part of the most improved red telephone box awards.
