ZyCoV-D, the COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved for children in the age group of 12-17 years, will be rolled out in October. Making the important announcement on Wednesday, head of National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) Dr NK Arora said that the government’s working group on COVID-19 will conduct a meeting soon to chalk out a plan for introducing ZyCoV-D vaccine.

देश में Corona के मामलों में उतार चढ़ाव जारी है। कोरोना की तीसरी लहर (Third Wave) को लेकर चिंता बढ़ी हुई है। एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि कोरोना की तीसरी लहर में सबसे ज्यादा बच्चों (Children) को खतरा है। और अब तक बच्चों का वैक्सीनेशन (Vaccination) भी शुरु नहीं हो पाया है। लेकिन अब इसे लेकर इंतजार खत्म हो गया है. October के पहले हफ्ते से बच्चों को वैक्सीन (Vaccine)लगनी शुरु हो जाएगी. दुनिया की पहली DNA वैक्सीन Zycov-D को भारत (India) में मंजूरी मिल गई है.
