Heavy rain lashes Delhi-NCR, traffic movement affected

People in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to a rainy morning on Saturday, bringing relief after days of sultry and humid weather. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorms with moderate to heavy intensity rain are very likely to continue over many parts of Delhi and adjoining areas during the next two hours. The weather forecasting agency has predicted light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers till August 23 in the national capital.
