The company that operates SNH48 Group announced a major reorganization of its operations around three axis: idol management, movie production, and ecommerce. The group also announced a brand new headquarters ("Beiwaitan STAR48 Cultural and Creative Park") is under construction. Also announced are two new virtual idols to be used for product promotions.
