Pentagon says Kabul not in 'imminent threat' environment

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said Kabul was not in an ‘imminent threat environment,’ but the Taliban is trying to isolate the Afghan capital as resistance from government forces crumbled elsewhere in the country.
