Sister Lucy Kalappura ends hunger strike after cops intervene

Sister Lucy Kalappura called off her hunger strike after the local police intervened in the matter and helped restore her internet connection in the corridor. She has been protesting against harassment by the Wayand church.
She alleged that her life was made difficult inside the convent. She said for the last year she had not been given food inside the convent and had bought an induction cooker to cook once a day.
