West Bengal Forest Department has launched a unique 'Tree Ambulance' campaign. The ambulance will distribute saplings to the general public. The initiative aims to increase tree cover for adequate oxygen supply

कोरोना की दूसरी लहर में ऑक्सीजन की कमी से लोगों को सांस लेने में दिक्कत होने लगी थी। ऑक्सीजन समय पर नहीं मिलने से कई लोगों की मौत भी हो गई। वन विभाग की ओर से सिलीगुड़ी में ट्री एंबुलेंस शुरू की गयी है। ट्री एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से वन महोत्सव के उपलक्ष्य में वनकर्मी लोगों के घरों में जाकर पौधे वितरित कर रहे है
