Uttar Pradesh govt prepares population control bill draft

In order to control the population of Uttar Pradesh, the Adityanath-led government with the State Law Commission released the first draft of the proposed population control bill. The draft bill has provisions to deter people who have more than two children from the benefits of government schemes and perks for those who follow the two-child policy.
