Ten individuals at the men’s Psychiatric Ward in Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) have tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.
Following this, he said the ward has been "frozen", with existing patients kept in the affected ward.
The minister said HKL will not close down its wards, even when new Covid-19 cases are detected at the hospital.
