Vishwa Fernando,Embuldeniya, 5 cricketers refused to sign contract for India series| Oneindia Sports

The five cricketers, namely Lasith Embuldeniya, Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Ashen Bandara, and Kasun Rajitha, were offered tour contracts by the SLC for the India series but they all denied. As per SLC CEO Ashley de Silva the five players were to sign the contract and enter bio-bubble but the talks didn't materialise. The doors for the series haven't been closed for the players yet. The players have the opportunity to sign the contract until the training starts. If they do so, they will be given permission to join the camp.

Sri Lanka Cricket धरातल पर आ गया है. अब तो नौबत ऐसी आ गयी है कि Bangladesh और Afghanistanकी टीमें भी Sri Lanka को उसी के घर में आँख दिखाकर आ जाती है. और हराती भी है. बीते कुछ सालों में खिलाड़ियों और बोर्ड के बीच खूब मतभेद हुए हैं. जो अब तक जारी है. और अगले कुछ महीनों में इसे सुलझाया नहीं गया. तो बहुत जल्द ही Sri Lanka Cricket अपना वजूद खो देगा. हो सकता है कि सरकार को भी हस्तक्षेप करना पड़े. जितने भी पूर्व दिग्गज खिलाड़ी रहे हैं. उन्हें अब श्रीलंका क्रिकेट की चिंता सता रही है. दरअसल, कुछ महीनों से Sri Lanka Cricket Board और खिलाड़ियों के बीच मतभेद चल रहे हैं. कॉन्ट्रैक्ट विवाद पर कई खिलाड़ियों ने साइन करने से मना कर दिया था.
