The Special Investigation Team probing the Nayagarh minor girl murder case has recovered the leggings of the victim which is claimed to be an important piece of evidence in the case. The pair of leggings was recovered yesterday from the pond nearby the victim’s house.
The investigation team, Fire and ODRAF teams partially drained the pond yesterday following which the legging was recovered. However, questions have been raised over the recovered leggings.
According to the family members of the minor, the pair of leggings which the victim was wearing on the day of crime was blue in colour. But there will be more clarity on the matter after the special investigation team provides more details about the leggings after examination.
