One person was critically injured and property worth over Rs 5 lakh was destroyed in a fire at a fruit market in Bolangir on Thursday night. The critically injured person has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
As per sources, a fire-fighting team rushed to the spot and doused the flames soon after receiving information. The Fire services team said that the fire could have been triggered by short circuit. Though the exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, the owners of the fruit shops raised suspicion of foul play.
