The senior Congress leader Kamal Nath remains defiant over his statement of ‘India is badnam, not mahan’.  His statement stirred a fresh controversy on Friday as he termed India ‘badnam, not mahan’ (infamous, not great). Addressing the media during a religious visit to Maihar in MP, Kamal Nath claimed that India’s Covid situation was being monitored by the world.
The leader also claimed that due to the Modi government’s alleged inability to handle the Covid-19 pandemic in India, Indians living abroad were facing discrimination.
