FLAG OF OUR FATHERS

Manila Mayor Franscisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso commemorates National Flag Day in Manila on May 28, 2021 at the Kartilya ng Katipunan Shrine. The Philippine Navy also commemorated the event with the raising of the flag at the Heritage Park in Imus, Cavite. On this day, Filipinos unfurled the Philippine flag after defeating the Spanish forces in the Battle of Alapan in Imus in 1898. National Flag Day was declared on March 6, 1965 by virtue of Presidential Proclamation 374.
