Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez, Trade Secretary Ramon M. Lopez and Local Government Spokesman and Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya lead the launch of the 'Safety Seal' certication inside SM City Sucat on May 26, 2021. This is in line with the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) - Department of Health (DoH) - DILG - Department of Tourism (DoT)- DTI Joint Memorandum Circular 21-01 Series of 2021, based on the Inter-Agency Task Force on Covid-19 (IATF) Resolution 87, which aims to come up with an inspection and certification mechanism for business establishments and major public places to ensure their compliance with minimum public health standards, including the use of the STAY SAFE app to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19.
