Yaas, which has intensified into a "severe cyclonic" storm, is expected to hit the eastern coast of the country between north Odisha and West Bengal. The administration has started preparations before the storm. A high alert has been issued due to the cyclonic storm in Sunderbans in West Bengal. People are being appealed to stay in the house.
