Andhra Pradesh govt stops distribution of miracle Covid drug

The Andhra Pradesh government has stopped the distribution of the ‘magic' Covid cure. Krishnapatnam village in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district witnessed a large gathering for a 'miracle' Covid-19 drug.

Even though there is no scientific evidence that says the drug is effective, people gathered in the village to collect the Ayurvedic 'cure' made by an elderly practitioner B Anandaiah who also stays in the same village. He claims that his drug is an effective cure for Covid-19.

He does not have any professional training and said he made the drug out of 'experience'. He is now distributing the drug for free in his village.
