gold hallmarking jwellery की खरीदारी में अब धोखाधड़ी की कोई गुंजाइश नहीं होगी, क्योंकि 1 June 2021 से देश में भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो की हॉलमार्किंग की ही ज्वैलरी बिकेगी. government ने जनवरी 2020 में कहा था कि सोने के गहनों पर अनिवार्य हॉलमार्किंग 15 जनवरी 2021 से लागू होगी.

The government is all set to implement mandatory hallmarking of gold jewellery and artefacts from 1 June 2021. In November 2019, the govt had announced that hallmarking of gold jewellery and artefacts would be made mandatory across the country from 15 January 2021.
