Californian woman misses out on lottery win after putting her ticket through the wash

Now how's this for a hard luck story. A Californian woman claims to have missed out on a twenty-six-million dollar lottery prize - after the winning ticket was destroyed in her washing machine. She says she left it in the pocket of her trousers. The BBC's Tim Allman has the story.
