A lorry driver was fined RM3,000 for transporting 72 live goats without written permission from the authorities.
Muthu Kumaresan Mariapan, 26, pleaded guilty before magistrate Mohd Hadi Hakimi Harun when he was charged on Wednesday (April 28) for moving the livestock in a lorry at about 4.30pm on March 7 this year near the junction of Kampung Langsat 2 along the stretch of Changlun to Kuala Perlis expressway.
