Foreign worker takes own life after allegedly not being paid for 5 months

A construction worker from Pakistan was found dead at a site along Jalan Ampang on April 17.
It is believed that the 30-year-old man had taken his own life after he was frustrated that the company he worked for allegedly did not pay his salary for five months.
Prior to that, the deceased had posted a video of himself on the social media platform TikTok, saying that he cannot take it anymore after his employer did not pay his salary.
