The election commission has sought a report from the DEO of Cooch Behar over the violence outside a polling booth. A first-time voter was shot dead by unidentified persons outside a polling booth in West Bengal's Cooch Behar district. Following the incident, CISF personnel opened fire in Cooch Behar's Sitalkuchi which killed four villagers.
