sitaron se ulajhta ja raha hun
shab-e-furqat bahut ghabra raha hun
yaqin ye hai haqiqat khul rahi hai
guman ye hai ki dhoke kha raha hun
asar bhi le raha hun teri chup ka
tujhe qail bhi karta ja raha hun
bharam tere sitam ka khul chuka hai
main tujh se aaj kyun sharma raha hun

ستاروں سے الجھتا جا رہا ہوں
شب فرقت بہت گھبرا رہا ہوں
یقیں یہ ہے حقیقت کھل رہی ہے
گماں یہ ہے کہ دھوکے کھا رہا ہوں
اثر بھی لے رہا ہوں تیری چپ کا
تجھے قائل بھی کرتا جا رہا ہوں
بھرم تیرے ستم کا کھل چکا ہے
میں تجھ سے آج کیوں شرما رہا ہوں
