India can provide food, medicine but won't encourage infiltration: Amit Shah on Myanmar coup

In an exclusive interview to India Today TV, Home Minister and BJP loyalist Amit Shah on Friday said the Government of India can provide food and medical supplies, however, it won't encourage illegal infiltration into the country. "We want to help everyone. If they [people of Myanmar] want ration or medical supplies, the Indian government can set up camps and help them. But we can't encourage illegal infiltration into India from Myanmar," Amit Shah said. The ongoing crisis in Myanmar, since the beginning of the coup, has claimed more than 114 lives, according to a report by the Associated Press. For more, watch the full video.
