Elections: 80.43% turnout in Bengal, 73.03% in Assam

Phase two polling in 39 constituencies of Assam has ended. The state saw 73 % voter turnout. With the culmination of phase 2 polls, the fate of 345 candidates including five sitting ministers and the deputy speaker has been sealed by the voters. 80.43% turnout in Bengal recorded till 5 pm.
