in ki Tisen to kaenati hain

aadmi shash-jahat ka dulha

waqt ki gardishen baraati hain

faisle kar rahe hain arsh-nashin

aafaten aadmi pe aati hain

kaliyan kis daur ke tasawwur mein

KHun hote hi muskuraati hain

tere wade hon jin ke shamil-e-haal

wo umangen kahan samati hain

ان کی ٹیسیں تو کائناتی ہیں

آدمی شش جہات کا دولہا

وقت کی گردشیں براتی ہیں

فیصلے کر رہے ہیں عرش نشیں

آفتیں آدمی پہ آتی ہیں

کلیاں کس دور کے تصور میں

خون ہوتے ہی مسکراتی ہیں

تیرے وعدے ہوں جن کے شامل حال

وہ امنگیں کہاں سماتی ہیں

इन की टीसें तो काएनाती हैं

आदमी शश-जहात का दूल्हा

वक़्त की गर्दिशें बराती हैं

फ़ैसले कर रहे हैं अर्श-नशीं

आफ़तें आदमी पे आती हैं

कलियाँ किस दौर के तसव्वुर में

ख़ून होते ही मुस्कुराती हैं

तेरे वादे हों जिन के शामिल-ए-हाल

वो उमंगें कहाँ समाती हैं
