The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), which is leading an aggressive campaign to oust Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, continued to face violent protests from its workers over selection of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. BJP workers at many places in the state staged demonstrations outside the party's election office.
