Lady Vendetta

Lady Vendetta, film diretto da Park Chan-wook, vede protagonista Lee Geum-ja (Lee Young-ae), una studentessa ventenne che viene arrestata negli anni Novanta con l’accusa di aver rapito e assassinato un bambino di sei anni. Trascorre in carcere ben tredici anni, durante i quali mostra un sincero pentimento per la sua terribile azione, fino a diventare una cristiana fedelissima. Oltre a mantenere una buona condotta, la donna aiuta e sostiene le altre carcerate che le promettono gratitudine una volta fuori. Quando arriva finalmente il momento del rilascio, Lee va a vivere in un albergo e trova lavoro in una pasticceria.
