Around 25 coronavirus sceptics were seen marching through Berlin's Schoneberg district to protest measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Protesters were wearing white uniforms and white masks, while marching in line. Several passers-by were seen reprimanding the protesters, as police units escorted the rally.
"This is a ‘performance’, so to speak, a performance to draw attention to the whole situation, so that people see what is happening in the whole world and so they pay attention to it when they see in the on the street," said rally participant Barbara.
Germany currently records over 2,484,300 COVID-19 cases and 71,420 related deaths, according to data provided by John Hopkins University.
On Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel set out a plan to gradually ease restrictions in the country.
