बीते कुछ समय से देश में कोरोना संक्रमण के मामले में भारी गिरावट देखने को मिली रही थी, जिसके चलते लोगों ने कोरोना महामारी से बचने के लिए पालन की जाने वाली गाइडलाइन का पालन करने में कोताही बरतना शुरू कर दी थी. अब इसके परिणामस्वरूप देश के पांच राज्यों में कोरोना संक्रमण के मामले तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं. इस संबंध में आज केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने भी चेतावनी जारी की है. स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के मुताबिक केरल, महाराष्ट्र, पंजाब, छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश में कोरोना वायरस के दैनिक मामलों में अचानक बढ़ोत्तरी दर्ज की गई .

Several states in the country, including Kerala and Maharashtra, have been witnessing a rise in the cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) throughout the week with some of them reporting a fresh spike in daily infections. The seven-day average of new cases across the country has now gone up during the seven of the last eight days, highlighting the potential risk of a surge in cases. The rise in the cases comes amid fear of new mutations in the virus.
