The tide opens a page of history of the Second World War on a French beach. A French light tank, without its turret, reappears after more than 60 years.

It is a Hotchkiss H35, 400 were manufactured, only one is known to have survived today; it is an extremely rare discovery.

In May June 1940, the pocket of Dunkirk allowed the evacuation in England, by the sea, of some 350,000 soldiers encircled by the Germans.

Salvaging this military vehicle is possible today, but the conservation of this artifact is likely to be expensive.
