England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty says during a press conference alongside Prime Minister Boris Johnson that the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain has appeared to have peaked, as more than 10 million people have received a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine across the country.
