Former NBA player James Young led all players in scoring with 20 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3pt FG) for Maccabi Haifa, while another former NBA player, Brandon Rush, added 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 3pt FG) and 5 rebounds in the losing effort. With the win, the Timberwolves improve to 1-2 in preseason play.
