About the speaker: "Khadija Basith was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She began wearing hijab when she was 11 years old. She expanded her hijab to include niqab when she attended Lake Forest College, from which she received a bachelors in Mathematics and Elementary Education. She recently also completed a masters in Mathematics Education from Depaul University. She began her career as a math teacher in District 28 in Northbrook, IL five years ago and is currently employed there. She is also in the 4th year of Darul Uloom Online."
