Remarks: The difference wordings between "ดาวเรือง - สุเทพ วงศ์กำแหง" 1st version and 2nd version are as follows:

1) 1st version is "เราต่างคนต่างอยู่ไกล"
but 2nd version is "แม้ว่าเราจะอยู่ไกล".

2) 1st version is "ใกล้ชิดจนใจตรงกัน"
but 2nd version is "ใกล้เสียจนใจตรงกัน".

This song is telling how one man loves and dedicate everything even his life to a lady's name "Dao Ruang".
Really, Dao Ruang is the name of a kind of flowers that Thai people always use to be a part of garland for sacrifice to holy places or objects, i.e., images of Buddha, Brahma, and other Hindu.
