UP: Love Jihad के शक में Police ने रोकी शादी, लड़का-लड़की ने थाने में गुजारी रात | वनइंडिया हिंदी

In Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, the police picked up a Muslim couple from the wedding venue and kept them in the police station overnight, police interrogated both people for hours at the police station on the night of the wedding. When both of them gave proof of their being Muslim, then they were married. Actually, the police had received a complaint of forcibly marrying under Love Jihad. On which the police took this step by taking quick action.

उत्तर प्रदेश में गैर-कानूनी धर्मांतरण रोकने के लिए बने सख्त कानून के बाद यूपी पुलिस अब कोई रिस्क लेने के मूड में नहीं दिख रही है. उसकी ये 'अति सतर्कता' कुछ लोगों को भारी भी पड़ रही है. यूपी के कुशीनगर में पुलिस एक मुस्लिम जोड़े को शादी स्थल से उठा ले गई और उसे रात भर थाने में बैठाए रखा, पुलिस ने दोनों लोगों से शादी की रात थाने में घंटों पूछताछ की. जब दोनों ने उन्हें अपने मुसलमान होने का सबूत दिया तब उनका निकाह हो सका.
