FIRST LADY COMMANDOS SHOOTING COMPETITION HELD AT SSU HQ

Karachi: - Lady Police Commandos of SSU exhibiting their exceptional professional skills, secured distinct positions in the First Lady Commandos Shooting Competition Dec-2020 organized at Special Security Unit (SSU), Sindh Police Headquarters wherein, lady commandos of SSU and Sindh Rangers participated.
Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Omer Ahmed Bhukari was the chief guest of the event. While, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, Deputy Director General Rangers Brigadier Asghar Ali Jatoi and Commandant SSU Dr. Farrukh Ali Lanjhar were also present on the occasion.
Team category of the shooting competition was won by Team SSU after a close contest with Team Sindh Rangers securing 664 points and 651 points respectively.
In category of Precision Fire, SSU lady police commando Bakhtawar Bhatti got first position, SSU lady police commando Shahida Khan got second position and SSU lady police commando Rubab Kanwal got third position.
In category of Transition Fire, SSU lady police commando Bakhtawar Bhatti got first position, SSU lady police commando Shahida Khan got second position and Sindh Rangers lady commando Mehwish got third position.
In category of Pistol Quick Shoot, SSU lady police commando Shahida Khan got first position, SSU lady police commando Bakhtawar Bhatti got second position and Sindh Rangers lady commando Rafia got third position.
In overall rankings, SSU lady police commando Bakhtawar Bhatti got first position, SSU lady police commando Shahida Khan got second position and Sindh Rangers lady commando Rafia got third position.
DG Rangers Sindh extended his heartiest congratulations to the successful participants of lady commandos of SSU and Sindh Rangers and urged for holding of such events in future.
DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed extended his gratitude for the cooperation of Sindh Rangers in organizing the competition and said that SSU is paying maximum attention for providing modern policing training and improving the professional capabilities of SSU Commandos.
DG Rangers Sindh distributed trophy and cash prizes amongst the winner and runner-up teams.
DIG Security and Emergency Services Division presented Sindhi Topi and Ajrak to the chief guest, DG Rangers Sindh.
