The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) headed by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao fell short of majority in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls held on December 1. BJP has emerged as the second-largest party in GMCH and gave a neck-and-neck fight to Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM. The Women workers of BJP celebrated the big boost in Telangana.
