PM Modi's Mann ki Baat show earned Rs 30 crore for All India Radio (AIR). As per an RTI filed, PM's podcast generated 4 times the revenue that was spent on its advertisement. The govt spent Rs 7.29 crore on the show's advertisements and earned a whopping amount of Rs 30.28 Crore. The revenue for Radio comes from higher advertising rates
Mann ki Baat was launched on October 3, 2014. It is also broadcasted in 18 regional languages 33 dialects on the same day, after the original broadcast. The show has also faced criticism from the Opposition for the expenditure spent on its advertisement. Watch the video for more.
