Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the government has decided to allow people to sell firecrackers for two hours and burst on Diwali in the state. This decision has been taken in compliance with the guidelines issued by the National Green Tribunal in view of increasing air pollution so that the level of pollution can be reduced. The Chief Minister said that on the day of Diwali in the state, citizens can burst firecrackers for only two hours. It has been observed that due to pollution, there has also been an increase in the infected patients of Corona.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने कहा कि सरकार ने प्रदेश में दिवाली पर लोगों को दो घंटे पटाखे बेचने व फोड़ने की छूट देने का निर्णय लिया है. यह निर्णय बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण के मद्देनजर नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल द्वारा जारी दिशा निर्देशों का अनुपालन करते हुए लिया गया है ताकि प्रदूषण के स्तर को कम किया जा सके. मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश में दिवाली के दिन नागरिक सिर्फ दो घंटे पटाखे फोड़ सकते हैं. देखा गया है कि प्रदूषण के कारण ही कोरोना के संक्रमित मरीजों में भी बढ़ोतरी हुई है.
