Anirudh Ravichander (born 16 October 1990), is an Indian film composer and singer who primarily works in Tamil cinema. He has also worked in Telugu and Hindi. He is the son of veteran actor Ravi Raghavendra. He has since become one of the most popular composers in South India and is one of the best-selling recording artists in India, with over 20 million units sold worldwide as of 2017.
Anirudh's debut song "Why This Kolaveri Di", composed for the 2012 film 3, went viral across the globe and has achieved over 200 million views on YouTube.
