The votes are being counted for the U.S. presidential election.
Joe Biden appears to be inching closer to victory.
His camp earlier said the Democratic nominee is planning to make a prime-time speech.
Our Eum Ji-young has been following the developments.
Ji-young, do fill us in.
Daniel, as you said, Joe Biden's camp said the nominee is set to address the nation at prime-time on Friday night local time, although it is unclear what he will say.
He will reportedly deliver the speech from his Wilmington, Delaware home.
While growing vote tallies seem to show the Democratic contender Joe Biden winning the race, both sides continue to watch results coming in.
Biden's campaign is waiting for key states to finish counting ballots, including Pennsylvania,... a state Trump needs to win reelection,...but which could take the democrat nominee over the 270 electoral votes needed for victory.
As of 11:30 AM Korea time on Saturday,... it is neck-in-neck in Pennsylvania with Biden ahead of Trump by just 0.3 percent.
Biden is also leading in Georgia and Arizona,...also by less than 1 percent in each state.
But Trump is leading in North Carolina by slightly over a percent.
In terms of electoral votes, Biden has 2-hundred-53,... leading Trump by 40.
There's uncertainty surrounding the election as Trump vows to keep fighting and never give up.
Yes, Daniel, Republican U.S. President Donald Trump, repeatedly claimed election fraud on Friday local time, saying that he refuses to acknowledge the results and concede the race to Joe Biden.
In a tweet on Friday evening local time, Trump said, "Joe Biden should not wrongfully claim the office of the President" adding that legal proceedings are now beginning.
Trump also said in a statement released by his campaign that he will never give up fighting as this is about the integrity of the entire election process, and the American people deserve to have transparency in vote counting.
It seems likely a legal battle will be waged across several states as Trump refuses to accept a probable Biden victory.
That's all I have for now. Back to you, Daniel.
